We now offer a trade-in and resale service for pre-owned TREK kids’ bikes. Our goal is to extend the life of each bike, give more children the chance to enjoy them, and encourage reuse while reducing waste. Simple, quick and great value. Bring your bike to Örninn. Visit our workshop at Faxafen 10. We’ll inspect and assess your bike and help you find the perfect next bike for your child.

How it works

  1. Bring your TREK kids’ bike to us.
  2. We inspect the bike and assess its condition.
  3. You receive a valuation and store credit at Örninn.
  4. You can use your store credit towards:
    • a new kids’ bike
    • a larger bike
    • accessories or equipment
    • a larger pre-owned bike

Please note

  • We only accept TREK kids’ bikes. With more than 35 years of experience with TREK kids’ bikes, we know their quality and durability mean they can often be enjoyed for many years after the original owner has outgrown them.
  • The condition of the bike directly affects its value.
  • The trade-in value is based on the condition of the bike.

Terms & Conditions

  • The bike’s serial number must be registered in our system under the seller’s Icelandic ID number (kennitala) in order for us to issue the trade-in value as store credit.
  • All pre-owned bikes sold by us are inspected, and any necessary repairs are carried out before they are offered for sale.
  • We only accept TREK kids’ bikes.
  • We reserve the right to decline a bike if its condition does not meet our requirements or if we do not have sufficient storage or sales space at our workshop at Faxafen 10.
  • We reserve the right to decline any bike offered for trade-in.
