By placing an order you agree to these terms of sale.

Scope

These terms apply to all purchases of goods and services in Örninn's online store.

Prices

All prices are shown including VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing and input errors, including those arising from connectivity or technical issues affecting the display of, for example, price and quantity.

Orders

A contract is formed once an order has been confirmed by email. If an item proves to be unavailable, the buyer will be contacted.

Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods available at checkout.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Icelandic law.

Delivery and shipping

Delivery time depends on stock availability. Bicycles may require assembly and a safety check before they are handed over. We aim to process orders and hand them to the carrier within 24 hours of order confirmation.

The carrier's delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of shipments. From the moment the item is handed to the carrier, any damage to it is the buyer's responsibility.

Örninn hjól ehf. is not liable for delays or damage occurring with the carrier. The customer should inspect the shipment on receipt and report any transit damage to the carrier without delay.

Please note that the maximum compensation from the postal service (Pósturinn) is ISK 22,500, so for more valuable shipments we recommend insuring them separately. (Subject to price changes by Pósturinn.)

A flat shipping fee applies to bicycles and e-bikes anywhere in Iceland.

Warranty and complaints

Örninn hjól ehf. honours consumers' statutory rights in respect of defects.

All TREK bikes come with a lifetime warranty on frames and a two-year warranty on everything else. The warranty does not cover normal wear on chains, sprockets, brake pads, tyres or other wear parts. Batteries and electrical systems are additionally subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway. Support for payment methods may change without notice.

Cards are charged when the order is confirmed or in accordance with the terms of the payment service.
