The R9100 again uses an injection-molded carbon-composite to ensure superior transmission and responsiveness, while the body is wider and features a shorter stack height to significantly improve stability under foot when putting the hammer down.At 228g these are the lightest ever Dura-Ace pedals, for maximum efficiency in the pedal stroke and pure speed up the climbs. For long-lasting performance the axle is nickel chromoly steel and rotates on sealed, super-smooth bearings that are designed to spin for an age, plus three molded stainless steel plates feature on the carbon body to reduce flex and prolong wear.For longer ride comfort, the wide bearing placement distributes load evenly across the platform to stabilise the pedal stroke and reduce the development of hot spots. Available with +4mm axle length for riders with naturally wider hips.
